Hello
Greetings! I'm Forest, an animator who makes cool stuff out of simple shapes. I love turning basic things into awesome animations and believe that anything simple can turn into something amazing.
My work isn't just to watch; it's to make you think and feel your own story. I don't get bored working on computers; actually, it's where I have the most fun, creating new worlds and stories.
In simple words, I take small beginnings and dream them into big adventures for everyone to enjoy and make their own.
My Story
From the tender age of six, I found myself enchanted by the digital glow of computer screens, a fascination that blossomed into a profound passion for computer-generated animations by the time I was thirteen. This allure wasn't just fleeting curiosity; it beckoned me into the intricate world of 3D animation, urging me to delve into the software and programming languages that breathe life into static pixels.
My journey began humbly, with creations crafted in the blocky, pixelated style reminiscent of Minecraft—a digital playground where simplicity laid the groundwork for complexity. Yet, my ambition was not content with staying within the confines of rudimentary designs. Driven by an insatiable thirst for knowledge, I ventured further, transitioning from basic characters and props to the sophisticated realm of cinematic models, visual effects, and fluid animations. The internet became my teacher, its vast expanse of tutorials my textbooks, guiding me through each step of this digital odyssey.
However, this path was not without its challenges. In the corridors of my primary school, amidst the chorus of youthful dreams, my aspirations encountered their first major obstacle: my teachers. Their words, steeped in skepticism, echoed the unfounded belief that a career in animation was a road leading nowhere. "This kind of thing will never find you a good job in the future," they cautioned, casting a shadow of doubt over my passion. It was a crossroads moment, one that could have swayed my resolve. After all, no one around me seemed to believe in the viability of animation as a career.
Despite these trials, the flicker of my dream refused to be extinguished. In this critical juncture, the unwavering support of my parents shone like a beacon of hope. They recognized the fire in my eyes, the relentless drive that animated my spirit. Their encouragement was the wind beneath my wings, propelling me toward a future they believed was not only possible but bright. With their blessing, I took a bold step into the future, enrolling in the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), a prestigious institution where dreams like mine were nurtured and given the space to soar.
At SCAD, surrounded by fellow dreamers and innovators, my skills were honed, and my vision expanded. The journey that began with a child's fascination with computers and animations has transformed into a quest for mastery in the art of bringing imagination to life. This journey, marked by both trials and triumphs, is a testament to the power of passion, the importance of support, and the boundless potential of creativity when given the chance to flourish.
